ASSET DECLARATION 2009 [Posted on: 2010-03-09]
This is to remind all concerned heads of the Departments/Divisions/Sections/Programs/Hospitals/Institutes under Ministry of Health that all health staff are required to declare their assets annually. It is mandatory for all individuals to declare their assets for 2009 on or before 31st March, 2010 online at www.ant-corruption.org.bt. The individuals who declare after the dateline will be liable for explanation and will be dealt as per the provision under The Asset Declaration Rules 2008. Therefore, all concerned heads/supervisors/controlling officers are required to inform the respective staffs and ensure that the individual staff file his/her assets correctly before the dateline. BHUTAN MEDICAL AND HEALTH OUNCIL ANNOUNCEMENT [Posted on: 2010-03-04]
As per the Medical and Health Council Act, 2002 Kingdom of Bhutan, under chapter IV, Section 6 which states “No medical or health person except those, who are registered under this Act, may practice in the country”. Therefore it is statutory requirement that all the national and foreign medical or health professional including volunteers practicing the profession in Bhutan are required to be registered with the Council latest by April 2010 end. Over the past few days, there were queries and clarifications sought on the RFP for Health Help Center (HHC). We would like to share the document outlining the rationale, vision, mission, solutions sought for the ICT-enabled healthcare in Bhutan and the governance structure. Kindly use it for reference and as information for preparation of a comprehensive proposal relevant to the existing healthcare system in Bhutan. We suggest that independent bidders conduct its own investigations and analysis to ensure accurate and complete information for their proposals. The purpose of sharing the document is to give an idea of how the ICT- enabled solution for healthcare is seen as a part of improving accessibility to healthcare in the country while keeping in mind, the existing "working healthcare system" in Bhutan. Registration for supply of Drugs, Vaccines and other medical supplies [Posted on: 2010-02-24]
Ministry of Health would like to inform all the interested firms to kindly register with the Drugs, Vaccines & Equipment Division (DVED) under the Department of Medical Services for the supply of Drugs, Vaccines and other medical supplies.
